PROJECT Cà del Buco:
"Let's know the farms"


The overall objective of rural land management is the balance between the social and economic development and safeguarding the environment and nature. To do so nowadays we need a model of aggregation that allows the sustenance and development of farms.
It becomes crucial to develop a project that actively involves the reality in which they are because it is only thanks to good cooperation that we may achieve the desired results. We established for this purpose an ATI between farms of local producers.

- Companies must respect the following specific rules you're going to attach

- Enhance the quality of local products with events and festivals

- Promotion of the local territory

- Products that are sold are made by companies belonging to ATI, or that otherwise support a production environment and marry our philosophy, however, only companies in the local area. Seasonal fruits and vegetables, honey and herbs, fresh or dried.

I personally think, as farmer of Ca del Buco, that it's important to organize and plan events throughout the year, trying as much as possible to enhance the territory, our culture, our flavors, leaving the guests the curiosity and the desire to return to visit us, whatever its provenance. Farms will propose hours of fun with small classes that allow children, families and adults to develop natural material created with imagination

- There will be a constant training of customers throughout the production phases, the naturalness and quality of products offered.

- It will be cruciale the development of the local economy and the livelihood of small scale producers can invest in themselves by dedicating a day per month, alternately, to the point of sale

- Citizens and visitors will not only taste local products but they will live in this context the heat and passion of the farmers with whom the will familiarize, keeping alive a place to meet, to exchange and to grow

In the Educational Farm Cà del Buco, schools may find many farmers that are able to offer many educational pathways. Squares, local or spaces are available to bring the project in question


This project requires a significant entrepreneurial commitment, alongside with cropping systems environmentally friendy and with the
enhancement of agriculture and rural development.
Agriculture is in the earth that coincides with the landscape and the habitats of plants and animals that surround it, only by respecting and allowing everyone to know, together we will build a project not only for us but also for future generations.

A Cà del Buco fields are cultivated with cereals, fruit (corns, water chestnuts and figs), vegetables and breed farmyard animals (rabbits, chickens, pigs, sheep and goats). The farm products are grown according to the directives imposed from organic farming. Guests are offered the opportunity to gather and eat the products of the season, working the land and participating in educational workshops on a theme.
